This year, we are ensuring Clayton READS 30 Minutes Every Day This Summer by selecting free eBooks for our Summer Reading suggestions!

Students who read a variety of books each day of the summer are better prepared for the new school year. Ensure your child is reading at least 30 minutes a day all summer long!

Congressional District 5

Elementary School Winner

Mount Zion Elementary School

Congratulations! Your team is the winner of your Congressional District for the Stock Market Game Spring 2022 competition. This means your team GA_61_ZZ1357 had the highest total equity in your grade band in your congressional district.

We are so proud of our scholars for this accomplishment!!!!

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) provides limited opportunities for Clayton County students to attend district schools outside the attendance zone in which they live. Schools that adhere to specific enrollment criteria, a lottery process for student assignment, or programs where students must apply to be accepted are not included in this process.  Examples include, but are not limited to, Elite Scholars Academy, Stilwell School of the Arts, Pre-K Programs and Magnet Programs.

Applications for HB251, SB10, Hardship, and Employee Transfer will be accepted April 22, 2022 - June 10, 2022. (These are the only dates applications will be accepted for the 2022-2023 school year.)

To apply for a Hardship, HB251 or SB10 transfer, you must complete the application link below.  (If you do not have an account, you will need to register as a new user.)

The clubs are designed to offer safe and inclusive spaces for students to connect with one another, build awareness of mental health and wellness, and learn skills to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
